Hi, i'm tattooing for about 4 months right now. i started with rl needles first 3rl up to 11rl but for me the lines were not thick enough. I see many artists that work with rs needles as liners and get the exact lines that i wanted. So i tried lining with 11 rs needles it was fine, exactly like i wanted it to be. But now i have the problem that mostly all of the ink get out of my skin? whats left is something that looks like blowouts but the depth was the right an its not scarred or something, the "blowout" gets back and leaves the outlines of the original line. I only have this problem at the rs needles i searched everywhere in the internet but dont find antything about it, but i heared from people with the same problem only with rs liners? maybe someone here can help/give tips? Sorry for my english if anything was unclear i maybe can describe it better :)

I'm no specialist on thick lines because I usually work with thin lines (3rl is about the thickest I use), but I know some artists use Mags for thick lines, mostly because they are less traumatic on the skin.
Another technique is using two thinner outlines and a fill in between, this is what I use for some thicker lines when needed.
RS carts are more traumatic as the needles are located in circles, thus it's likely you get double ink pushed in at the center of your thick line.

this could indeed lead to a blowout effect.
A flat magnum has 11 needles in one line, and a magnum shader has them in two parallel lines. Using the right speed should give a much more evenly thick line.
But as I said, I'm no expert.
