Hi,i have a thermal tattoo printer and it doesnt work anymore , it turns on but when i try to print something the paper comes out blank
I bought it from amazon , https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Transfer...prefix=tattoo+thermal+printe,beauty,98&sr=1-8Hi,
can you tell us which brand/model this is?
Peace,
DKJ
i think it doesnt heat up , either because the part that heats up its broken or the part that scans the paper has a problem , the light at the "Scanner part" works btwIf it's an old school printer and the belt turns it's your bulb, there's not a lot that can go wrong with one a can of compressed air will do a wonders for one. I think the only other thing besides a belt and a bulb I've had go out was the little switch that turns it off when the carrier is done running.
yes it didDid it work at all since you bought it?
am looking for better device too would u share the link or more details about the device "paneka" plsI have owned 2 of these (Chinese) printers, the slim one and the one slightly deeper in the body. The first was good for about 4 years but seemed to start giving lighter stencils, I replaced. recently a friend of mine set up his own studio and I ‘loaned’ him my old one. It seems to be working perfect again (??).
The downside is that you use more stencil carbon than you need when working on small pieces. You can cut designs and carbon and run through the centre position of the rollers, and you can pull a carbon sheet half way through to save some paper, but it’s a bit hit and miss.
Stencils are good and these machines work with the cheapest carbon paper (knock off spirit). They are a bit slow, though nothing compared to hand stencil.
I also have a ‘German stencil machine’ (I think Panenka or something) which is a beast. It’s the one you use a plastic wallet to hold your carbon and design. The results are fantastic and it runs through in about 5 seconds. You can use exactly the right amount of carbon paper for every design…minimal waste. I love it BUT it will not work with cheap carbon paper. You also need a laser printer as inkjets don’t have any (or enough) carbon.
Bottom line….the German machine was 7/8 times the price of the black (Chinese) machines, and while it’s clearly better at the job, probably not 7/8 times better. If you are on a budget these black Chinese stencil machines are great and normally work without issue (certainly my 2 have given value for money). I do regard them as disposable after some years, while my German machine will get the build replaced when it needs it.
