This tattoo has been more than two years and it was normal at first

But recently I found something that grows grain by grain

see a dermatologist

The doctor doesn't know the reason, so he can only take steroids to see

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Did you do these tattoos? If so, what ink did you use and are you SURE it was a legitimate product from a verifiable source? There’s plenty of counterfeit ink that looks pretty much like the original.

I don’t know the answer to the question BUT I note that the growths are localised to places where the ink sits in the skin, rather than a more general problem that might affect the surrounding areas.

If I had to commit on this, I’d say the ink is probably fake and is reacting adversely in the skin OR this person has some kind of intolerance/reaction to tattoos.

Did you tattoo others with the same ink? This could give clues if others have reacted, though not seeing it in others would not necessarily exclude the ‘bad ink’ hypothesis. Does this person have other tattoos that haven’t reacted this way?

If it was on me I’d be worried.
