Hi, I just got my second tattoo earlier this week. This is my first filled in/shaded tattoo so I'm a bit unfamiliar with how this will heal (I'm guessing badly). Today I noticed some redness underneath the scab (for the blue flower) that wasn't there the day before, and after looking closer I think it's a wound? I've been following aftercare procedures as I did my first tattoo so I'm fairly saddened with this one. Will the Ink in that area disappear? Are there any tips to lessen the damage?

Thank you in advance! :)

Click on the word Tattoo at the bottom of her post Whippet......as for an answer to your question about the tattoo Kiara, it looks like it may have been overworked in that area or may even be infected....I personally don't like tattoos without an outline, unless it is a realistic style design and I don't think this tattoo will be around for long, I'm pretty sure the reds and greens will fade very quickly plus most of the blue.

Funnily enough two girls came in for matching small realistic sunflowers…first thing I did was explained how colour realism changes over time, and not that much time either. Ended up doing them both with a fine outline

Thank you for the answer! It's gotten better, and no infections here, thankfully. And yeah, I went in knowing and prepared that the colours won't last for a very long time. I don't mind getting a re-touch or even a cover up a few years down the line, so it's fine by me
