Hey, first vaseline is not a hygiene product, its purpose is to help the needle enter the skin. You should buy sterile needles and tubes from good tattoo supply online shops to avoid infecting yourself or others, an antibacterial spray to clean your work area (bottles, table, stool, etc... basically everything that you're giong to tuch during the tattoo process), and pharmaceutical products to clean the skin before tattoing (an antiseptic soap and an antiseptic spray, something made out of chlorexidine for example). The main use of the green soap is to clean the tattoo from the exceding ink with a paper towel, but it has no real antiseptic power. I recommend an antiseptic soap instead (go to your pharamacy), it's much safer (mainly because the water you use to dilute your greensoap is not sterile) and can be used the same way. Wash your hands often with HAS, wear glove when tattooing to avoid jabing yourself with a potentially infected needle (this is the only use of gloves really, they do not protect your client since they are not sterile), and a mask to avoid projecting microorganisms on the tattoo area. I recommand to go premium if you want more detailed infos and answers, this forum is extra useful :)
