I was wondering has anyone used Dr. or Mr. Numb and are they really effective and does it have any flaws.....I was told by a couple of people that Dr. Numb is good but I discover Mr. Numb in a tat magazine today.....also I was wondering when using it to tattoo would I use it as a replacement for Vaseline ??

they all contain Lidocaine around the same strength. I have used a few of them, they all seem to work about the same. Just rub it on the skin then cling film it for about 45 mins to an hour.
It will last 2 to 3 hours
You will still use vaseline just the same as its not a substitute for it.

I have used Dr Numb and it seemed to work on some clients but not so good on others, and I found it wears off quite quickly after about 30 - 60 mins.

I will sometimes smear some more on after I have done the outline. Clients have even started to ask for it now, so now I charge for it. I have been using one called Tattoo Numb in a red 30mg Tube.
It seems to being the job ok.

It works well, takes a while to completely numb the area though, you need to put it thick and then wrap it for about 1.5 - 2hours.
