Major dilemma!! Don’t know which studio to apprentice in

Hi guys, so I was lucky enough to be accepted as an apprentice in a great studio BUT I haven’t started at all. No signing of anything or coming in because they want me to wait until they move studio locations.

But just last night, my favourite tattoo artist from my DREAM studio asked me if I could come in for an interview.

I’m so so confused. Mostly because, I don’t know what to say to my current mentor (if I get the apprenticeship at the other studio). She’s already given me homework to do which I’ve completed and I guess my anxiety is making me think she’ll hate me if I leave.

What would you guys do? What would you say to your current mentor if you got an apprenticeship at your dream studio?

A lot of people would love to be able to pick and choose, in fact a lot of people would just love the opportunity to apprentice at all.....go to the interview at your Dream Studio, see what they have to offer, compare it with what the other place has offered, then go with your brain, not your heart....a dream studio may not actually end up a dream but a nightmare...Also do some homework...suss out who owns the shop, I would steer clear of Motorcycle Club shops...see if you can find out how many artists go through their shop...stuff like that.....good luck with what you decide.

Don't let your ego choose for you. Sit alone in silence and feel what you most want to do. Never go with what your brain tells you( your brain is the one making you ask peoples opinions and second guess yourself), go with your trueself. She will guide you. If you have not started, you have the option for both and if 2 places have asked you to work for them, that means you are an amazing artist. Most don't get 2 opportunities. They get 1 so you are already a step ahead of most!! You are asking people because you feel guilty as you really want to work for the second one. Your that good, you can work anywhere but if your favorite artist has asked you, then you know truly which one you should go with.
