Kuro Sumi are said to be the very best and are very used. Intenze, MOM's, Eternal are also excellent, and others... Its a matter of preference, as long as you don't buy cheap chinese inks.

My only issue with Kuro Sumi is that their ink names are not very evocative. That's why I buy Intenze's ^^
The only colour ink i've used are Eternal and Starbrite and both are awesome... i think it's less about the ink and more about the correct colour choices compared to the skin tone you're tattooing, just stick with any reputable brand
