I had an interesting experience recently. I just started tattooing and was dinking around with some simple line designs on my arm I'm confident enough to play a little on my own skin touching up old tattoos I got years ago.
I bought some moms nuclear invisible uv ink I liked the Idea of having designs only I knew were there etc
I did a very simple symbol a did it in the same area as the touchups on virgins skin same needles time area method day etc the only difference was the ink while all the other tattoo new outlines and color packing stuck no problems the uv ink is another animal completely!!
I've never seen it happen before the scab was a weird color and consistency from the start then it split open and after I covered it again for a day the heat made the scab soft and the scab oozed off onto the gauze when I looked at the tattoo under black light it was nearly all gone like seriously my body pushed all the ink out into the scab there is none remaining in most of the area and what is left is only in the scab not the skin and where it pushed it out there is just a crater a couple of few mm deep.
From the start the whole process was different the area got really swollen very quick it felt very different both during and after
I know some react differently to uv ink and it's not an easy medium to work with I did a lot of reading and watching I'd say I'm a mini YouTube expert ?
But nowhere have I heard of complete rejection like that with any ink and only hhe uv area was affected so Im pretty sure it's the ink lol I'm not that bad
I thought I'd share and see if others have heard of this happening. I'm a little bummed as it was not a bad job for a first attempt on my own skin though it looks like it will be just more scarification than tattoo lol
