I've done quite a few pieces as of now. All turning out great.
Have done 4 fingertats so far with no issues whatsoever on 3 of them. So, nothing different in my technique, yet the whole tat almost disappeared.
On this case i used a 3RL and dynamictriple black on the topside of the finger.
Is it me going to easy on the skin? is it the skin or anything else?
Only asking to prevent future cases like this and to learn, Not searchin for "excuses" just to be clear :D
Thanx!!

A photo would be good.
Fingers are notorious for fading and or blowing out.....unless you are experienced, I would shy away from tattooing fingers

Fingers are pretty easy as long as you're gentle. Soft machine and controlled depth (which is probably where your problem was). From there, you have to be sure you're on the top of the finger. Anything to the side will fade off too fast to be worth it. If you got your depth right it will be up to the client in the aftercare. They'll have to keep it clean and dry, which is really hard for our hands. I always tell people "one touchup" for fingers. They're just too easy to lose. I'd be doing nothing but touchups if I didn't limit it to one.

Sry had no picture!! I will keep this in mind. I know the client worked a lot with hands during the healingprocess. I just really wanted to make sure that i did the best i could to make it as good as possible! :)
