Hi, I'm a beginner still practicing on fruits ?‍♀️ and I realized when my cartridges go into my machine (Blackbird Short Pen Pro) they are not aligned with the grip. When the cartridge "clicks" in, the needles are sideways and the slanted side of the tip is "vertical"... (I'm adding an image to make myself clear)
Is there a way to adjust this? Is it a problem with my machine? This happens with all cartridges I've tried...
Thanks in advance!

I have contacted the local retailer that I bought it from, still waiting for an answer (we're having a long holiday over here)
I couldn't actually find an official site for the brand... looks like a generic chinese machine (although it says Japanese motor...)
I just got today some Yellow Dragonfly RL3's that go in just fine, but it is weird... all the other cartridges go in sideways.

hmmm... the plot thickens. i honestly don't have any ideas.

you've established that one brand/configuration works (dragonfly 3rl)?
you've established other brands & configurations don't work? or are they all the same brand... just diff configurations?

i'm assuming you've looked at the orientation of the attachment points (so the proximal or opposite end of the needle) - are the same on working & non working carts?

I think I got this! your question made me go look specifically one by one on all cartridges and I realized all the ones that didn't work belong to another brand. I tried other sizes/configurations of dragonfly and they all work fine...
I had supposedly bought an assortment of sizes and types of Dragonfly but this made me realize the store mixed some odd ones in... Definitely will call them out about this.
Anyway, I guess that's solved!
Thanks!

good deal bruv.

what sucks... is that it looks like they designed their machine to only use their carts.... taking choice away from you
