What needles do you use the most when lining/shading/colour packing.

Also can you use a larger tube with a smaller needle configuration? A 7 round tube with a 3/5 RL

atm i use a 7 12G rl in a 5 tip apart from that its what ever needle i need to use to get the job done

7rl, 9rl, 7rs,7cm,11cm. you can use smaller needles in larger tips if they are diamond pattern but some times you can get odd ink flow issues.

Single needles. For shading I've been using 7cm.

Of course I used other needle groupings, but never like it, and the above are my go to needles.

7trl is my go to. 90% of what I do is with this.
I love 13cm for most
11rs for tighter stuff.

if I could only use those 3...I'd be OK.
