Open Or Closed Magnum Tubes?

Wondering if anyone could share some insight as to the difference between open and closed magnum tubes? Is the usage the same? Open holds more ink and easier to clean between colors? Appreciate the time if anyone has experience with both to shed a bit of light on the subject.

Open mag tubes are easier to clean. Not sure if they would hold more ink, that should be the same.

I have tried both open and closed tips, I dont find much difference except open is easier to wipe downward and clean but not much, and you can see the needles more.

The only difference is preference and like stated open tubes are easier to clean
