Tattoo Tension Gauge!

does ant body know of a supplier of this tool,it is an American idea ,and it measures the tension on the armature bar,in grams ,so you know what tension the needle is hitting the skin?I have rang around a few good tattoo shops and they have never even herd of this tool.if you need to see a picture of this tool ,google national tattoo supplies(u.s.a).and its under tattoo tension gauge,(looks like a paint scraper-with a torque arm on it to measure the tension on the armature bar!)it measures in grams so you know what is hitting the skin for lining and shading!thanks

i can think of a lot more important things to spend *£45 on, the reason most people in tattoo shops haven't herd of them is because they are not needed.

Agree, if you set your gap at what you want it to be for what the machine is going to do, your duty will have to be between 40-60%, so if you get it between those two, (better at 45-55%), you are going to have the correct tension, it is a waste of money, and time, as you wont realistically be able to get the machine to perform outside that duty no matter what the gauge tells you, your thumb is as good a gauge as you'll need.

I only used mine a couple of times then flogged it on ebay, as said, not really necessary.
