Best Method for Disposing Needles?

I'm starting to get a stack of used needles - I was wondering what is the best way to dispose of them? I haven't used them on humans so there's not chance of any nastiness on them, but i know you can't just throw them out in the trash - can the general public buy those sharps container things? i'm half temped to just keep them as stainless steel is a renewable resource

Not to sound like a douche, but there are mutiple threads on this forum about proper needle disposal. It also depends on where you're located. Get ahold of your local council, or hospital. Some cities have needle drop offs for people that use needles...

Sharps containers ... Just have to find a place to dispose of the box. My sister takes mine to the doctors office she works at
