Ever since i started tattooing I only used my Ego Apex Nano 3.5 with a Cheyenne cartridge grip. I'm used to it, but i got to the point where i want to try other machines, other strokes etc.
I thought about giving pens a try, the Mast Flip was one of the machines that caught my eye, along with the WJX Dialog and the Mast Fold Pro. Does anyone here have experience with these machines?
I really liked the idea of having one machine that changes strokes easily, sounds like it would be helpful to make me understand the difference between strokes.
I've been reading everything i can about the Mast Flip and from what i understood it's good for shading and color packing, but maybe not so much for lining... One option would be to try to set up my Ego only for lining and use that, but ideally I'd prefer if the machine i buy could line well, of course.
Also, if you have anything to say about the Ego Apex Nano, I'm all ears! For now it seems like its better at shading than lining, doesn't seem that powerful , but then again its also making more noise than i think it should so I'm not sure if its 100% either
Bez (the owner of the brand) said the motor might need servicing, and he'd even do it for free. But since he's from the uk the cost of shipping the machine there would probably be the same as buying a second one, so not really worth it for me
