Hey!

I am New to the forum, and this world. I have been researching what gear to get as a beginner. Going to use pig skin, but do want something i can use in the future if this is the right thing for me..
Right now I am between an axys valhalla or a inkjecta flite nano.
I can get the valhalla used for about $500 and the injekta for $750. I do have a pressure cooker, idk if that is the same as an autoclave.

Also i am a bit worried buying the valhalla , read quite a few posts about them starting to make a weird sound or Just stop working.
Also is it harder to control for not hurting skin as a beginner?

Inkjecta is the way to go if you want to spend that amount of money....you can use them for lining, shading and colour packing if you get the interchangeable push bars with it.....I personally wouldn't fork out a lot of money if just starting out, many pen style machines can be purchased for a lot less (Mast, CNC etc) which work pretty good, I would go for practice skins (Reelskin, Frankenskin, Pound of Flesh) instead of pig skin.
A pressure cooker isn't the same as an autoclave...some people will tell you that you can sterilize by boiling your equipment in a pot of boiling water or immerse it in Baby Bottle cleaning solution....(good enough to sterilize babies bottles, good enough to sterilize tattoo equipment....I don't think so)...stick to disposables.
Good luck with your learning journey, if you haven't done so already, get yourself a premium membership on here and read, research as much as you can, watch you tube videos (some are excellent, some not so).

If you never tried, better buy a cheap amazon kit to do so, and then go full blast on the money.

Also, picking up a machine after you know what is your stuff (more iriented in lining, packing or gradients) could be a better choice than being sorry for your first bad choice.
As you wish and this is your money, just my experience

Peace,
