Hello,
I'm brand new to tattooing, and I just purchased a Hummingbird Bronc V2 and the digital power supply. This machine is recommended not to run over 7 volts. I've been practicing on fruit and skin but it's hard to find out where I should start. Can anyone recommend running voltage for line work or shading for this old machine? It had really great reviews and it was affordable. I didn't want to purchase an expensive machine until I know what I'm really looking for. Thank you all for your time and any suggestions.

All I know is that Hummingbirds at least used to run at much lower volts than other machines (That was important to keep in mind when reading or listening to advice about volts). I'm not sure whether that applies to Bronc v2, or on their machines over all anymore.

On their homepage they used to have a list for recommended volts for lining, packing and shading for all their machines. I didn't find that now when looking for it (but I'm lousy at searching).

Or you can search Hummingbird here on the forum, there are lots of info. You'll surely find a link to their list of recommendations too.
