Tattoo Machine choice : what do I need ?

Hello from France !

I’ve been practicing tattoo for a long time now but only doing handpoke. I think my lines are pretty solid now and i want to upgrade with a first machine.

I only do ignorant tattoo, so I don’t plan to use shading and stuff but mostly bold lines, some coloring.

I really don’t know what I need to buy, there is no real good review in France and I’m a bit lost lol

For my budget I think something around 400/600€ is a good idea.

If I was you I’d probably look for a wireless machine , cnc make the w.e machine ,and Ez make the portex battery machine , both will line and pack colour

My vote is a quality coil machine. Maybe add a second for packing color.

With that budget you can buy 2 good machines & a good PS & have lots of $$ left over for practice skins & ink.

If you do get a top of the line rotary you will never reach it's full potential doing what your doing... but once you start to explore other styles... it will be there for you.

did you hand poke that umbrella? i think that is effing swell if you did.
