Troubleshooting my tattoos?

Hi there, I recently started tattooing December 1st, I work in a shoo where we only have about a month of training before we're thrown on the floor. My training tattoos weren't too bad, but u swear recently I've started regressing. My ink isn't going into the skin well, it looks super faded. I'm at a shop where I can't really ask for help because they don't care if you do well.

I'm not sure if I broke my machine or something, because I accidentally dropped it or if it's my power supply, or maybe my ink.

I use an Axys Fehu and I also was gifted an axys Valhalla. I mostly use eternal ink and solid ink. I use eternal triple black for my lines. TATSOUL - RAGE DIAL POWER SUPPLY.

I can send you pm of the tattoos I'm most concerned with. I can't seem to get my tattoos BLACK they're coming out Grey instead

If you can add a few photos would be a good start...I see you're a basic member and that means you can't post pics, maybe invest in a premium membership?
There are ways to post pics without becoming a premium member, but for the life of me, I can't remember how.
And by what you say in your post, you're not getting much assistance from your co workers or shop owners, so a premium membership could be a help to you.

I looked you up on Instagram and your more recent tattoos looks a little less saturated than your first ones, and more rushed.

Usually it's recommended to avoid blaming tools and inks, but the fact that you dropped your machine on the floor actually can affect the tattoo result.

On the photos on Instagram it's hard to tell what's your issues. If it's not the machine that's broken, it could be your hand is too fast according to your machine speed, or your machine speed too low according to your hand speed. It could be not enough depth. It could both speed and depth.

One thing I'll say is that you probably don't want to use Triple Black for lining. It's a thicker black and will take a lot more work to get it in saturated. Stick to a thinner black like their regular black ink for lining and use any of the heavy blacks for packing in black work.

Did you drop both machines? If you did, it could be your machine. Otherwise if you're having the same results with both machines then it's safe to say it's the technique. And yes, even using Triple Black can be done with the slow and patient technique. But since you're just learning, it's not something you want to add to the struggle. Really, I ultimately question any shop that would throw you to the public in 30 days. You really should be limited to family and friends in the early stages, especially if you're essentially teaching yourself.

I’ve used Dynamic triple black for over 3 years now, ive not experienced any problems with it either on linework or solid black, I personally don’t think it is much different to standard Dynamic black

hmmm. I notice it's quite a bit thicker. Probably because I'm used to using pretty thin inks.

I find the common mistake is people tend to tattoo far too deeply when they start out or do not realise that different parts of the body need to be treated differently with stretch or depth, for a long time I wasn’t going deep enough and had lines which had dropped out once healed, many people who go too deep end up with blow outs or extra wide lines for the size of the needle used, same with some black inks, depth can have a big effect on how it heals.

Hey guys! I was able to get some help from one of my coworkers, he said I wasn't stretching the skin enough and my voltage was too high.

Also my ink is almost expired so I bought some new ink, just waiting for it to be delivered. Thank you all for your help!
