Hi everyone,

I'm still using some of the cheapest fake skin that I originally got while awaiting reelskin, but I wanted to ask if there is something I can do to avoid the streaking that the needles are leaving behind. I've been having this issue with pretty much all my RS and RL sizes (from 3 up 9 tested so far). Running the machine at 6 up to 8.4v and moving slowly (I think). In the picture below I used a 9RS first, then even tried to go over it with a 9RL to see if anything would change. Ink is double sumi.

Thanks in Advance!

Hi
Its probably just the cheap fake skin. Looks like the needles are just scratching the surface.

Very normal for fake skin, it just doesn't saturate as wel as real skin and you get to see the individual lines of the needle grouping.

I have 2 differnt types of fake skin, one is very rubbery and doesn't stretch much and I had this problem.... The other skin I have just feels different, I don't no the brand as my partner purchased for me, but it feels more realistic and stretches really well and I get a good glide while lining. I've only been doing it for literally just under 2 weeks but I've made amazing progress on the better skin.
