Hello, I am new to this site and I have been doing allot of reading and searching but could not find the answers I’m looking for so I’m hopping someone on here can point me in the right direction and help. I really want to not only learn the trade of tattooing but I want to master it and actually be proud of something for once. I’ve only been practicing on myself I’d rather mess myself up before I do anyone else. I’m having problems with shading more so than anything else and color packing. After a few days the color is scabbed up and peaked right off. I thought I was going in deep enough. I’ve tried setting my machine to different settings and using different needles. But I still get the same results. Now I’m really trying to get good at shading but it seems like my machine isn’t powerful enough to do it I’m using a Bugpin 5 long tapered curved mag from Poseidon. There is quite a bit of movement with the needle. I’m using the dragon hawk atom with a 2400mah lithium battery for power and also the mast super rotary machine with a power supply and foot nettle for that one. I can use all the help and tricks I can get from you guys so I can perfect this art and become great at it. Thank you im trying to post pictures right now of my setup and work

Hi and welcome to the forum! ??? You've come to the right place. If you've been reading some of the threads already, you've also already probably come across the advice to go premium. That's what I'll advice you too ? You'll find so much more useful info there, as all the threads where we who are premium members talk, are only for premium members.

It doesn't cost much at all, like $10 or so, only a one time fee too. And then you'll be able to post photos as well, which helps us a lot when giving you info about your work :)
