Hey guys
Hope your all good .

this is a tattoo I did about a month ago .
It’s 70 % done .
Waiting for it to heal and then finish it .

was a weird one . On the day the client wanted it done in one sitting . Then half way through said it could be done in two but we had to finish at 7 .
At 5 he said are we still going to be finshed at 6 so I had an hour to get the outer shade of the tiger in .
Bit of miss communication but all good .
That just explaines the loosens of the outer parts of the head .

I used a .3/7cm a .3/3rl a .3/11 cm and a .3/5rl
I used the mast flip on 2.6 for the mags and higher for the line fills .

my first tiger . I’m happy with it .
The whiskers where a bit hard though , trying to keep the bg the same shade between the whiskers .

so I’m next sitting , add overall shade . More fur detail . Pop the eyes with some nice shading . Tidey up the outside and add white to whiskers eyes and highlights . Stipple shade the nose

any crit or feedback would be great :)

thanks
S

Looks good so far....I always get the client to remove their footwear when I tattoo lower legs, bulky shoes always seem to get in the way.

Hey Big Pete , I think he did have his trainer of when I was doing it , can’t remember :/ but yea good point :)
This is the practice I did before the real tattoo , still not finished .
reelskin is great but nothing like actually tattooing human skin , wish my real tattoos looked as good as my practice ones . Hopefully in time :)

Thanks DKJ :)
Really appreciate the kind words :)it’s a good boost !

keep having up and down feelings about carrying on .
Like when I look at instagram and I’m like I’ll never be that good . What’s the point in carrying on .
But nice words like that help me push on :)

thanks bud

We don't have to compare our works with other's, just get inspired :)
Some great tattoers are idiots, some people can make a great comic book with low drawing skills, some peeps are super cool but are always late, no one's perfect and the list goes on forever!

Be honest with yourself, this tiger tattoo is professional, i guess your client is really happy with it.
Time, work, experience and realizations will take you somewhere higher, and no superstar tattoer will!

Doubt is the ultimate fuel to get somewhere imo.

Peace,

DKJ
