I decided Tattooing some Joker portraits and trying some different things, for when I`m doing Portraits.

Joaquin Phoenix: This is my first time doing a "background" to the tattoo (Left side of the face). I feel like the shading could have gone smoother.
Heath Ledger: This was a complex one to to, because of the scars and blood on the face. I still need to work on tattooing hair, which I find it very hard to do at this point. Also with this one, the full black was strangely damaging the fake Skin.
Jack Nicholson: I decided not to use black at all here, and I just went with 2 cups of black, one had 1 drop and the other had 3 drops. The rest was just water. I feel that using black gives a better contrast and "pushes" that face towards you, which was not achieved with the Jack Nicholson one.

Something interesting I have learned from all three of them, is that having portraits with scars or face painting, raises the difficulty a lot, especially because I had no color added.

Criticism will be highly appreciated as I still am discovering and figuring things out, myself.
You can check out, Hyperlapse videos of all the tattoos, on my Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKHRnvCf7Q_4E33jzc1Urpw/videos

Brilliant.. really good work. The background in the first one is cool. Very consistant tone. Good shading and light tone contrast on kedgers hair.

Would be cool to see the references, and what the stencils looked like.

Big respect. I think you did a great job. Great stencils, if it means anything, i would pay top dollar to get those pieces done on my back. And it always amazes me to see stencils and how they end up once the tattoo is complete.

Hello,

At this point I see lots of things I could have done better with these fake skin tattoos, but I`m working hard to improve myself.
Thank you for the support!
I will keep posting my work here :)

Have a great evening,
John

Hello,

Here is Jared Leto`s 2016 Joker!

I used a 1, 3 and 6 black drops mix, and full black.
Needles: 1003RL, 1205RL, 1213RM.
This is the first tattoo where I have done the Stencil and design myself.
I have attached photos of the design, stencil on skin, hypelapse video and the final tattoo.

Constructive criticism is highly appreciated!

Thanks!
