In parallel with teaching myself on how to tattoo, since January of 2021 I have also decided to improve on my drawing skills.
I have always done sketches and doodling, but never took it seriously until now.
I am mostly interested in Comic book style and fantasy, but also I love doing portraits.
Let me know if you guys want to post more of my art here.
Thanks!

Here are some of my drawings:

Hi John, anatomy wise they're good but you should really work on your light and shadows values, they're too strong and lack subtility.
And they have some minor errord but you're on a good path.
Don't forget that light fades out with distance, so you can't have thr same values all over those bodies and faces.
Try to start from highly contrasted pictures and also try to work only with black dhadows with no grain or hatch work. It will help you define when a line can be erased when light is full and where you darkest shadows must stand.
Your drawings are all closed by lines or shadows, try to get out of that cage.
Very nice job indeed,

Peace,

DKJ
