Just bought some, looks the dogs, you have to stretch like skin, softer than the sketch type, and you can wrap it around a bottle/armrest etc.

I'll give it a review when I get it and have a go, it actually works out cheaper than the sketch skins, £14.99 for an A3 sheet, that's a lot of practise.

If it's any good Steve I'll get some and add do a piece in the practice contest. A pound of flesh looks good but there very expensive. I get paid to tattoo people not rubber but Ill look forward to your review.

Just got home from work, and it's here, will have a go just to see how the ink takes, but can't really do anything substantial, as I'm too busy until the weekend. I will post up later how it worked out.

It's not bad, softer than sketch skins, a bit like pig skin, very easy to get the ink in, (maybe too easy), lines will be all over the place if you aren't consistent. Not exactly like skin, but good for practice, like all the practice mediums, better than not practicing even if it isn't exactly the same.

Don't make too big an assessment with this pic., literally banged it out in 20 mins, just to get a feel for it, you can blend in the skin a bit, nearly impossible on the sketch skins, unless you've got a lot of time on your hands and the patience of a zen master.

@hYSobe had a little go the other day & for practice skin its not bad. Im not too experienced with fake skins cos iv never got on with them but this is by far the best iv used.
It took a while to get the stencil on, i had to let the stencil fluid dry for a while before i could put the stencil on then a while longer before i could touch it but stayed on once it was on.
It also seems to have a waterproof type surface so i didnt need any vaseline & it was easy to wipe & stay clean.
Deff worth a purchase when u can get hold of some.

Definitely going to look into trying these. Any ideas on other mediums to practice that are similar to skin? I'm getting an 8x12" sheet of pig skin this weekend but anything helps.
