How to go about moving studios as an apprentice?

I’m an apprentice who’s only been tattooing for 2 months. My current studio has amazing people, but not great management and mentorship. We also got some bad news that will really affect the growth of our careers.

So I’ve been considering moving studios, but I don’t exactly know how to go about this, especially with my little experience.

Should I just email a studio? Get tattooed by them? Just wait till they’re hiring?
