OMG.....Really

Did a tattoo on a woman yesterday, was a name and flowers on the top of her arm.....placed the stencil on her and had her look in the mirror to check placement etc
She stood there for what seemed like ages, twisting, turning, moving in and out to and from the mirror, then turned to me and said...."The letters are back to front"
I said you're looking at a reflection in the mirror, She said...."yes I know that, but can you do the letters around the right way"....no amount of explaining could convince her that they already were around the right way, eventually I had to take a photo of the stencil on her to show her to convince her...I still don't think she was sure that it was right, but got the tattoo anyway, it wasn't until her husband arrived to pick her up that he told her it was correct.
First time I've had someone that couldn't comprehend looking at an image in the mirror.

I actually heard the same kind of story on here a couple of years ago. Could it be that people get like a blackout due to stress? I'd hate to believe anyone can be that stupid

I'm gonna be the Peace & Love guy on this one... I'm not sure it's about dumbness, but maybe all the stress of having this text in the good place and the right order for a lifetime?

If the husband says 'yes', then she's confirmed everything is alright, and she can be relieved from doubts. We don't have the same power than the husband/wife.

But, also... We're not all from the same place and background, some peeps are really far sometimes!

Don't feel bad I had one that came in a couple months ago that said I looked in the mirror and it looked perfect then when the guy got done I woke up the next day and it was backwards, somehow this idiot had put the stencil on backwards, she looked in the mirror and it said love God perfectly. It was 4 in solid black Old English letters across the front of her neck..... He told her maybe you should have looked harder.. people are scared in apprehensive when they walk into a tattoo shop for good reasons, it's forever you have to be patient with the ones that are nervous. If I don't think people are 100% sure that that is the tattoo they want in the place that they want the size that they want I will send them home and tell them to think about it I don't need their money that bad.
