REACH Tattoo Ink Banning

Hi I have a couple questions relating to the tattoo ink banning happening.


1) If this ink banning happens I guess this will upset alot of people. Just wondering what is currently being done to stop this?

2) Some ink companies are releasing REACH compliant inks is this a new formula? So does this mean manufacturers are creating new inks that will be legal and complaint? What have they changed in the inks? Will we still have all the same colours and tones as before? Anyone seen the results of these new formulated inks are there any changes? Please share your experiences.

3) Anyone know if Australia is banning these inks or not? Anything happening?

It's on in Europe since the beginning of 2022, where some companies haven't provided new Reach inks and we are sold the old ones with a warning "only to be used on fake skin".
A lot of tattoers have signed a petition but it was too late, they're still fighting.
It's Europe only so i'm not sure it will extend worldwide.
Haven't tried them to this day, not very happy to change my habits but hey... It's all about being protected if your clients get bad reactions.
