I saw a reference to this on another post, but it was not specific.

So…has anyone been using Procreate Stamps?

I’ve bought a few sets from Etsy. One was just scans or downloaded imagery and I was refunded, BUT some other sets I have bought are really useful, and do what I think these sets are best for, providing elements that you can comp together to create unique designs.

The stuff on tattoo smart and tattoo space are from ‘better’ artists, but they seem to be rigid like original flash sheets, you get a set of finished designs that are not really for modifying or broken down into components. Of course you can modify manually like with any image.

My verdict on the sets I bought from Etsy is very positive. I know some people think you should draw everything, but if you can draw a rose (for example), what are you proving by spending time drawing your rose when there is one a click away in procreate?

I’m interested in what people think of this evolution in Flash.

Here are just a few stamps from some of my sets, which you can ‘stamp’ at any size:

Ive made my own stamps and brushes for the last few years, very useful in my case for putting together Japanese pieces

Some of the Tattoo Smart brush sets are there as a modern flash, yet others are components for you to assemble. It works out either way. I agree that there's nothing wrong with pulling elements from other locations that we didn't hand draw ourselves, as long as we're not telling people (or at least implying) that we drew it.
