Just a question to my fellow Aussie members.....I was wondering where you buy your tattoo supplies from? Do you order locally or use suppliers from other countries?
Many suppliers here in Oz will not sell to people who can't prove that they are working in a legitimate shop, although having said that, I have purchased from some of these companies without having to show proof. I think that's because of the power of the almighty dollar, they'll sell to anyone for the money.
I used to order from a company called Tiger Tattoo Supplies based in Queensland, but they went out of business, then I bit the bullet and started ordering from a shop I found on eBay, Needles Express. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their products, but they also stopped trading, I'm currently ordering froma shop called Mavis Bush Tattoo Supplies, based in Queensland.....some of their stuff is good, some not so good, plus they only keep a small amount of stock on hand and frequently run out of product and are slow to replenish their stock, postage/shipping is also a problem on occasions, sometimes taking up to 2 weeks from shipping to delivery.
