I work freehand, but I bought this thermal transfer printer with the idea of doing more stencils.

I used it twice and then it stayed in it's box and I never used it again. It works perfectly, and can print off nice thin lines and small details, as well as showing shaded areas in graduating the thermal print.

It is portable so you can take it anywhere and copy any drawings you've done through it to make a stencil, or you can just hook it up to a computer and using it to print stencils direct to your printer.

There are some good youtube videos online on how to use it, here's an example:

I would be happy to make a video of it working for anyone interested in buying it so they can be sure it works.

The printer was £520 new, I have used it only a couple of times and it is in perfect condition so I am asking for £420 for it. I would be happy to post it with insured postage, next day delivery, you can collect, or I can just send it regular first class. The postage will be added on top of the price of the printer. Just let me know what you would prefer.

PM me if you're interested. Thanks!

I have the pocket jet 3 version and dont understand that function, I can print from my laptop with any art softwarebut dont understand the "copy and drawings"

I can vouch how good these printers are for good clear stencils and brilliant if you tattoo portrait or mandala type designs.

Thanks for your reply!!

I have indeed made a mistake, it doesn't copy through the machine, just print directly from it. I bought it assuming it would do that too, although having only ever used it twice to print directly, I never thought to see if it did actually copy.

Apologies for the mistake, it was not my intention. I will correct the post now.....although I can't find an edit button for my first post?! Information can be found out about what the printer can do from here:

I hung onto the printer for ages thinking I would end up using it one day as the print quality is so great, but I just never got round it it, and now I need funds for something else! Hopefully it can find a new home where it will be used regularly!

I have the Spirit Brother Pocketjet. I can attest to this printer as well. Very nice thermal printer. The only con I have is that these do not allow you to copy. If you have hand drawn stencils, you must scan them into your pc and print from there. I'm use to using the Eclispe which is by far the best in my opinion as far as quick and easy to use. You will waste some stencil paper with large design. Small designs you can get a few stencils out of one sheet. You just have to make some adjustments....

The biggest size is A4.

Postage seems to be between £15 and £65 depending on what kind of service you would be happy to use. I used the site Parecel2Go.com to get a quick price with the address just being "Sweden". If you want to use that site to figure out what postage you would like, then the dimensions of the package work out to be approx:

L: 30cm
W: 17cm
D: 7cm

Weight: Printer is 470g, but with the box, paperwork, power cable and CD I think it comes close to 1kg. I'll weight it properly packaged tomorrow.

Let me know if you decide to go for it :)

Okay, thanks. It's exactly this model I'm interested in, but I've looked at swedish suppliers now, and if i count ≈£20 for shipping and £420 for machine, it's not far from buying a new one from a swedish supplier. I would save ≈£85, but then I wouldn't get a new one

I can sympathise with your thoughts on it coming close to the cost of a new one. When I was looking to buy it originally I look around endlessly to see if I could save any money however they rarely come along second hand, especially one that has been barely used.

However, I will say that this model is basically new. Like I said, I bought it new, removed it from it's box, used it literally a couple of times. It sat on a desk for a while before I put it back in it's box and away. There it has sat in the dark waiting for a new life :) I've you like I can take some crisper photos, there isn't even any wear on the plastic body.

I've listed the printer in a few other places so I will wait to see if anyone else is interested before lowering my price. It is unfortunate that the postage is so much for you. Do you know anyone in the UK travelling to Sweden soon?

Aah yes, I trust you when you say you only used it a couple of times (y) I'm more thinking when you buy something new (from a supplier) you get an invoice and a warranty. Buying second hand you have nothing. The only reason why it would be worth it would be the (low) prize. I'm not looking for you to lower the prize though. I've decided (now) to buy a new one or none at all. As said this is the very model i'm interested in so I may have been a bit hasty when asking about it, sorry for that.

As for the shipping to Sweden I was counting low (looking at parcel2go with your measures). It usually is veeery expensive.

I hope you'll find a buyer!

For this concern, the one and only the Bluetooth label printer by Munbyn Brand is worthy to utilize.
