News Site And Software Upgrades Coming Shortly

Hello all,
Its been a while since i have posted here, but as always we are usually keeping an eye on things in the background. We are more or less spam free with the measures we have put in place, and also by our members reporting any strange activity, and we thank you for that.
The software developers have released a major upgrade to keep up with the fast pace of server development, and as always we like to be up to speed with the updates so as to not get left behind. We have spent a lot of money and time recently trying to improve performance and these updates will greatly improve server security and loading speed.
We are actively working on the upgrades, so if you see a forum temporarily closed message at any point, don't panic. This is just a temporary downtime required when major resources are upgraded or replaced.

It seems like the world may be shutting down again in certain areas and hopefully you are all keeping safe and well in these weird times. We have seen a few new members around the place recently which is great to see and we hope you are all enjoying your time here. The forum is nearing 100,000 messages which is amazing to see and it is all made possible by you, the members!

Right then, thats enough chatter, its now back to the upgrades testing. Weekends are so much fun!!
As always now is the time to shout up if you would like to see any changes or new features added. We would love to try somthing a little different from other sites and need your feedback.

Right then, all the software updates are done! Just a few little tweaks with the style and layout and we will be done.
There is now an option to choose a light or dark style depending on your taste and reading preference.
I will make a list of the new user features shortly. Enjoy!

Just a little heads up. Have you seen both the light and darker styles yet?
On pc, you can simply click the light switch in the top menu bar, or on a mobile device it will be in the menu that slides in from the left.
Which version do you all prefer?

I prefer the light style ? It's tiring for the eyes to read light text on dark bottom.

Thank you for the upgrades. I prefer the light style during daytime and dark during the night time is easy on my eyes.
