At last! You can now get push notifications on your desktop browser or on your mobile. Push notifications are popup notifications when other users react to or reply to your posts.
This must be enabled when prompted, or it can be found in your control panel if you change your mind.
At the moment this isnt working on Apple IOS, but this can be avoided by using the Firefox browser instead of the apple browser.
This is the fault of Apple trying to lock out their systems and their processes. Nothing we can do unfortunately until they support it.
