I was just curious how many fellow riders are on this forum?
I currently only have 3 bikes,

a 1985 Honda shadow vt700c custom chopped hard-tailed all customized by me. I built everything from the footpegs to the seat to the handlebars I have over 30 hours in repairing and painting the gas tank alone.

a 1980 Honda CM400t stock except for the paint which was fading and chipping so I repainted the tank and fender as well as blacked out the engine

and a Yamaha rt180 dirt bike which is full stock (pink and purple why not LOL

I am looking to add a large cruiser 1100+ cc and a sport bike like a fireblade 1000rr to my stable eventually.

so chime in who rides and whatcha got?

Ive had a 1987 GSXR1100 slab side and a GSXR600, the 600 was a lot more fun and easy to chuck about, the 1100 was just plain dangerous ?

There was a time before my back went out I endurance raced 600s. Had quite a few street bikes...maybe one day i'll do it again. Just not so much fun in traffic these days.

just outlawed cellphones here, traffic was deadly the last 2 years this year the beginning was the worst since I have been riding. fatalities everywhere. My daughter loves to ride, but my bike spent more time "broke down" than putting her out there.

Here’s my bikes I build from non-running and beat up Yamaha xs650’s. One’s an 81’ and the other is a 79’. I chop the rear ends off these bikes and weld on hardtail’s and then customize them to my liking. I don’t send anything out either so everything is done by me.

Sweet. I always dreamt of doing a small ride like that for my daughter (comparatively small), but she never took interest. Oh well. More money for my shovel ?
Let me know if you ever need some leather on a project.

that ironhead is amazing
Thanks, i love old school bikes, i really want to build a rigid panhead one day. I regret selling the ironhead but the FXR is going to be totally worth it, im going through the electrical right now. Its getting a total overhaul top to bottom, itll be a different bike when im done.

Awesome looking bike ,yes definitely love that springer look ,I’ve never ridden a ridged frame so can’t comment on that ,but same as Mark two surgeries for trapped nerves later and the state of some of the roads around here ,id be cautious ?how much would it go for $ wise

Take care of yourselves, guys and guyettes.

I had a pretty rough month with:
A - daughter of a close friend who's still fighting for her life in a coma, after she (as the passenger of a motorcycle) hit a truck at full speed, the driver, her boyfriend died on impact at 23 Y old.
B - One of my best friend slipped on some gravels on a mountain road and broke an arm, a wrist, 3 ribs and his collarbone, surgery was ok, he's out of work for 2 months.
C - My son, 20, hit a tree 3 days ago, as the passenger, and got a big quad bump on his leg. His femur/femoral bone got out of his hip's articulation. The surgery (today) went well but he'll sure get arthrosis in his 30's and should limp for his whole life.

All that to say that even if it's not your fault, you're crazy fragile on these, so please be ultra cautious, wear good protections, get out if the driver is stupid, and if you can afford it, try to only ride on circuits as it's really a safer place.

Peace, have a safe ride!
