checked in the other day to see what i've been missing. the merger being one of them.
as some may know i am into health/fitness & in the summer i ride bicycles. middle of july i was hit by a truck. broke 5 ribs, by sternum, my elbow. it took me 3 weeks to be able to dress & feed myself. i still can't do a pull up due to pain. while i was home recovering i got a call from my boss at my day job. he offered me a promotion/engineering position (yup - while on sick leave). after we went over my reservations, i accepted - & that has kept me VERY busy. at the end of august i got covid. Between the injuries and the fatigue i wasn't able to tattoo. with my new responsibilities i haven't had anytime for other things like finishing my studio or tattooing. i have done one solid black chest piece and worked on some long term projects... but just don't have the drive to put in a lot of time right now.
to top that off... my evader 2 stopped working mid session the other day. i told my client sorry (instead of breaking out the coils). luckily he is a long term client and i told him the next tap out session is on me. got into contact with Mike at Centri & he responded very quickly with ideas to help. 3 years using this machine almost exclusively and this is the only problem i've had. Still give the machine & now, the company, nothing but good scores.
i am looking at a back up though. Mast flip or CNC p6 maybe because I am not willing to drop the money on a valhalla or neuma 4 yet. i will consider the centri pens as well... but the n4 is really the way i'm leaning still.
seen a lot of good work browsing the threads & lots of improvement as well. i'll try to pop in more often and offer advice where i can.
