Thanks to your very kind donations, we have upgraded the server to make the site much faster, with loads more storage space. ? The software and database are also running the very latest versions.
We have a friend who is a developer on board now, but only in his free time, so maybe a few tweaks will be made here and there in the coming weeks, for a better experience.
We are always looking for ideas of what you would like to see on the site, so please put your ideas forward. We were thinking of having some sort of social groups or personal blogs section, but this would be upto you, our members to add the content if we put the software in place.
Please, please give us your ideas going forward into this very fast moving internet driven world!

Thanks again for your tremendous support, and dont forget if your total donation amount goes over £20 GBP, You will automatically get your shiny new status badge around the forum ?

I wish had some brilliant new ideas to come up with, but I don't! ?

I don't know exactly what social groups would mean, but the idea of having personal blogs sounds like it could be a little confusing - a little too much to keep track of on the site. But maybe that's just me ?

Could you have an premium area/dashboard for video tutorials? Maybe have categories such as lining, shading, packing, colour, B&G, Machine set up, colour theory, stencils, machine reviews etc and members can add links to videos they’ve found on YouTube?

I tried to upload a video, and it took me through the steps ok but has not published. Do they need to be accepted by admins?
All sorted. No moderation unless it becomes a problem and is required.

I think this forum is missing one rather important option: deleting a post.
If someone posts something by error, or the post is no longer of any importance, an option to delete the post would be nice.
I'm a member of the Talkbass forum where posts can be deleted (only by the original of course) while providing a reason ("duplicate post" for example, it's a free text dialog to fill in). This is especially handy if a member wants to move (by duplicating) a post to another maybe more adequate thread. I know it has it's drawbacks as well because any reply or quote to a deleted post makes no sense or could confuse, but that's also the poster's responsibility. In the case of moving it to another thread what I do is leave a small post saying what I did and where the deleted post can be found (link).
just my piece of idea...
