My name is Steve and I'm excited to get started on my tattooing journey! My earliest memories as a child revolved around drawing and creating. The inspiration for my art is pulled from a number of different areas. Mutants, animals, monsters, angels, demons, laser beams, sci fi, skulls, medieval armor/ weapons, dragons, mythology, and so many crazy/awesome things! My artwork was a necessary outlet as a child, but my artwork was never encouraged or supported by those who I needed it from the most. Because of this lack of support I completely gave up on my passion for over 20 years. Like a lot of artists, tattooing was a career path that always peaked my interest. I have been a Firefighter for 17 years now and found that my artwork is necessary for my mental health and decompression. I also came to the realization that my artwork and tattooing is where my focus and energy needs to be directed. I found Tattooing 101 and I'm so glad that I did! Once I complete Artist Accelerater Program I will be tattooing while finishing my career as a Firefighter. Upon retirement from firefighting my goal is to open my own shop so i can positively impact the lives of others. Mental health is something that is personal for me and I strive for the opportunity to help others who are struggling. I know that tattooing will be a way for me to create positive energy in the lives of others, for the artists and the clients. I'm excited to be here and looking forward to learning, growing and sharing on this journey.
