You can do this of course, but now we have fake skins I’d definitely suggest going this way. I would only recommend reelskin (I hear pound of flesh is just as good but never tried). Reelskin sell a bag of offcuts and for a beginner these will serve you well for a pretty long time. You can tattoo both sides though there are subtle differences. It’s not real skin, but it will enable you to iron out a lot of kinks before you start your journey on flesh. I’m not mad crazy on spending money but this is a very worthy investment IMO.

Yes, I've got myslef some fake skin, having a lot of fun and I've found a way around the hiccups i had to begin with lol thank you for the reply.
