After constantly googling answers and finding this forum I figured I should join it.
I am completely new to drawing and tattooing, I have finished two drawing classes online first and now getting into tattooing.


I have to admit I enjoy creating art.
The reason I got into it is because I have a really bad back which will put me out of work for the rest of my life.
pain killers just to sit down and draw for a couple of hours.
I’m not a natural artist, always was the kid with bad hand writing in class.

I bought a cheap $100 tattoo kit off eBay which isn’t going well at all.
It’s a solong wireless looks like a fake Cheyenne machine
Created a stencil with some speed stick
Having trouble getting the green ink to stay in the fake skin.. just seems to wipe away.

I’m really happy to be here and learn.
The goal would be to put together a portfolio and go down to my local tattoo shop.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
If you have a serious back injury, I would possibly reconsider becoming a tattooist, sitting down all day, leaning forward and twisting will aggravate your back problems. Just about every tattooist I know suffers from some amount of back pain.
But if you really want to continue along this path, I would suggest a lot of information gathering, watch a lot of you tube, some of it is good info, some is bad, practice, practice, practice....don't touch human skin until you are ready, and most importantly, learn all you can about health and safety, blood bourne pathagens, sanitation and use all of these even when practicing.
