Hi all,
Lovely to join here and hopefully to get to know some new friends on here. I'm Rob, 34 from Ireland!
I've been in two tattoo apprenticeships none of which resulted in me tattooing. Both apprenticeships finished for different reasons. My first, my boss emigrated. My second, I had way too many things on my plate in the shop and outside. The environment wasn't right for me, I had to direct myself but was far too scattered and worn down to.
I moved city and got a shot in a new studio that's happy for me to move onto fake skin and small tattoos over the next few months. The atmosphere and pace of the shop is also much different from the last shop. This environment just personally suits me better and my mentor has time to sit down with me and do some work which only happened me two of 3 times before. I hope to supplement this with the artist accelerator programme.
Any advice would be greatly welcomed
