Hello everyone. I'm Aether, I live in Toronto, Ontario (Canadaland 
) I'm 38 and a stay at home mom. My mental health prevents me from going out to work so I have some small free time between child raising, preparing stuff for husband, and things that I've decided to dedicate that time to art. I'm considered a self taught artist. My late father was an artist (oil painting and metal embossing) and he taught me stuff when I was a kid. I haven't gone to school for art, but recently decided to start taking my art more seriously as a lifelong goal. I've always wanted to do tattoos since I was a kid, but as it goes with many, it isn't exactly favoured in most Asian families so I held back a lot. (My mother totally didn't take it well when I visited her once with three facial piercings.)I don't have many tattoos. Just tiny hand ones and one on my upper arm. I've been doing my best to practice with limited funds and devouring information online and books.
Apart from trying to just do lines on silicone skin, I'm currently trying to learn digital drawing and painting. I'm a fairly big gamer, manga/anime nerd, and I do focus a lot on that style, but I am recently attempting portraiture. I hope to learn a lot from everyone and hopefully change my dream into a tangible goal.
