Second, you want your stencils to last throughout the whole tattooing session. Generally, you need to apply the stencil and wait about 15 minutes for it to dry. If the stencil is high quality, you will be able to dab the skin as needed without losing your stencil. (We do not recommend ever rubbing across the stencil to avoid rubbing it off.)
